Christmas in the City

Christmas is a special occasion in the life of the church, as we remember with joy and celebration that God came to be among his people in the person of Jesus Christ.

Here at St Katharine Cree we host a number of carol services and concerts for local community groups and businesses.

​

As the Guild Church for Workers, we also host our own carol service - the annual London Cleaners Carol Service - in partnership with Clean for Good. This year our carol service is on Saturday 10th December at 3:30pm and we will be having music from St Martin's Portuguese choir among others.

​

We also host an annual Christmas Makers' Market - a fantastic opportunity to pick up last minute gifts and presents while supporting local craftspeople and traders, and enjoying carols and mulled wine in the beautiful setting of our decorated church here on Leadenhall Street. This year the market is on Thursday 22nd December from 12 noon to 7 pm.

If you would like to have a table at the Craft Market to sell products, please contact Corrine Louis or complete this form by the end of December.

While this church is then closed for the Christmas period from the end of our Christmas Market until Tuesday 3rd January, we encourage you to visit your local church to join in the Christmas services.
